Branson Lockouts - are our Specialty!

About 30 years ago, I unlocked this 1988 Mercedes-Benz 500SEL "Bullet-Proof" Sedan, for the Federal Marshal's Office. It belonged to a former Foreign Head of State.
This Lockout presented special challanges because of the High Security Locks, the extremely tight fitting and Air-Tight Doors and Door Jam surfaces, and the 1 - 1/2 inch "Bullet-Proof" glass plates.
-Mission Accomplished!
This was an Apartment Lockout I did for a retired Police Officer in early 2023, in another part of the U.S. He was concerned that his daughter couldn't be contacted the previous 24 Hours, and because of her Drug Abuse issues. The Local Police on scene, wanted this to wait another 24 Hours before opening. I informed the Law Enforcement Officers that I was going to unlock the apartment immediately anyway, because I believed she was in grave danger, and because of the Legal Doctrine of "Competing Harms."
Upon Un-locking the Pick and Bump Resistant Knobset and Deadbolt, the Police went inside. They immediately contacted the Fire Department and Ambulance. She was Immediately Rushed to the Emergency Department of the nearest Hospital.
-She Survived!
This was a Commercial Lockout at a National Franchise Chain Store in 2022. The Store Manager was unable to Un-Lock his Aluminum Glass Store-Front Door; the key turned, but the bolt would Not open. It had a Adams Rite Deadlock Malfunction. I quickly got the door opened so that his store could begin operations for the day. After installing new hardware, his door worked perfectly again.
-Problem Solved!
This was a Safe Lockout in 2021. There was a Death in the family of a customer who called me for Help. This old Diebold Safe hadn't been opened for years and they had Lost the Combination to open it. I figured out what the Safe Combination was by a process called Manipulation; this process does NOT utilize forceful entry techniques, and retains the integrety of the Safe and its Combination Lock. After opening the Safe, I Recombinated it to a combination that they could remember better.

Commercial Door Closer Adjustment
This was a Commercial Door Closer Adjustment of a National Franchise Chain Store-Front in another part of the U.S. in October 2023. The owner called and said that a front door at one of his stores wouldn't close properly.
Problems with Door Closers can be because of many possible reasons including a broken Door Closer, poor adjustments, or just out of adjustment due to several hundred thousand door openings. These types of problems can also be caused by accessories on the door rubbing against the floor or jam surfaces, such as weather stripping; it can also be caused by the door becoming out of alignment over time, and starting to rub against the door jam - metal to metal. The problems that can occur includes the door not closing all the way shut, the door slamming shut too hard, the door closing too fast or too slow, and the door opening too easily and too far. We at Branson Locksmith & Safecracker are able to help with all of these issues.
The job above turned out to be a combination of an accessory weather stripping...intermittently rubbing against the floor, that apparently was installed in the past to help prevent rain water intrusion, and the Door Closer being wildly out of adjustment. We got these problems taken care of and the door back to proper operation.

Safe Opening - Sentry Executive Series
Unlocked and Recombinated- Sentry Executive Series Safe. I was really surprised the first time I saw an Executive Series Sentry Safe; at well over $1000 for one of these safes...I had no idea that Sentry made higher Tier safes like this. It had a LaGard Goup 2 Combination Lock, as well as an external relocking device. The customer locked their safe and lost the combination to it. I came down to their house and solved the problem.

Slot Machine - Lockout and Make Key
In a State where it is Lawful for private citizens to own real Slot Machines, the customer Locked and Lost the Key to their Slot Machine. This was not a normal type of lock and required the milling of a Custom Fabricated Key. This Job was a little challenging, but fun!

Safe Opening - Major brand Wall Safe
Unlocked, Serviced, Repaired, and Recombinated- This customer had a Major Safe installed in the wall of their home, with a nice painting hung over it. They had the correct combination for it, but it still refused to open for months. They called me to Open, Service, Repair, and Recombination. It had a Sargent and Greenleaf Combination Lock, with a Delrin Wheel-pack.
